The show follows two guys who run a collector and classic car business named Yusuf Johnson and Antonio Brunet.  Their shop is called Motoreum and it’s located in Austin, Texas.  Basically both of these guys used to source collector cars from the US to sell, restore, or auction and did well at it for many years.  Since rare and collector cars are harder to find in the states nowadays they travel to foreign countries to buy and then bring back cars to sell here.

As they travel the world acquiring valuable cars, we see them journey through Latin and South American countries and sometimes put themselves in danger, to get diamond in the rough vehicles in good-great condition.

Six Minutes to Midnight

Cerebral Productions announces the next short film to be produced in-house as Six Minutes to Midnight (not affiliated with the recently announced Eddie Izzard feature of the same name). Michael Biggam directs. Cerebral Productions expresses thanks and gratitude to the Caguas Film Commission and all involved so far.

Cerebral Productions was contracted late last year by IMG and the FEI (Federation Equestrian International) to collaborate and produce the Puerto Rico segments of their gala awards ceremony.

The five winners of the FEI Awards 2015, the “Oscars of the equestrian world”, were tonight presented with their awards by Hollywood actress Bo Derek, at a Longines sponsored glittering gala dinner in the Puerto Rican capital city of San Juan.

Saluting the heroes of today and tomorrow for their outstanding contribution to equestrian sport, the FEI Awards 2015 – in association with the FEI’s Top Partner Longines and international fashion designer Reem Acra – applauded what has been an amazing 2015 sporting year, honouring the pursuit of excellence and rising talent.

The five winners, recognised for their significant achievements and willingness to demonstrate their passion for developing equestrian sport, are:

Longines Rising Star - Jessica Mendoza (GBR)
Reem Acra Best Athlete – Boyd Exell (AUS)
Best Groom - Jose Eduardo (Eddie) Garcia Luna (USA) 
Against All Odds - Oriana Ricca Marmissolle (URU)
FEI Solidarity - Les Chevaux qui pansent les plaies (Horses that heal wounds) (HAI)

The equestrian stars flew in from around the globe for a spectacular evening of glitz and glamour in the presence of over 350 distinguished guests, including National Federation representatives, FEI partners, VIPs and international media. On stage with Bo Derek and no stranger to success himself, was Puerto Rican actor and celebrated radio host Braulio Castillo Jr who served as master of ceremonies.

Congratulations to the winners and to all those in attendance, as well as the production teams from the UK and Puerto Rico.

Lynch on Casting

Cerebral Productions has been fortunate to have had support from David Lynch through his sharing of our projects and public and private words of encouragement. The FEI Awards were launched in 2009 to put a spotlight on the men, women, young people and organisations that are making an outstanding contribution to the progress and excellence of equestrian sport – in or out of the arena. 

This years awards ceremony was held at the Puerto Rico Museum of Arte in San Juan. Over 350 dignitaries and equestrian enthusiasts were in attendance with Braulio Castillo Jr. and Bo Derek as hosts. IMG and Cerebral Productions produced this years ceremony, along with El Guapo Cinema. 

With so many worthy nominees already announced for our FEI Awards within the Longines Rising Star, Against All Odds, FEI Solidarity and Best Groom categories we now look to the brightest stars of our sport with the nominees of the Reem Acra Best Athlete Award to round up the week.

Mighty Morph-Lin Power Ranger!!

Congratulations from all at Cerebral Productions to Ludi Lin, who was recently confirmed as "The Black Ranger" in the reboot of Power Rangers. Lin's acquisition was rumored in a tweet and confirmed by Lionsgate, production outfit behind the film. 

Ludi Lin was involved with Sugarfields early in production and was instrumental in helping the production get off the ground.

J.W. Cortés on road to recovery!!

Saints be praised: actor J.W. Cortés, star of Fox TV's Gotham and Sugarfields is making a full recovery after an accident while filming Sugarfields. Cortés was shooting a chase sequence when he fell, injuring his ankle in the process. After thorough checks Cortés has stated he is virtually recovered and back in action!!

Thank you for all of the warm wishes, we look forward to welcoming J.W. back to Puerto Rico to conclude filming!!

Thanks to Animal Planet and the SCS Direct production team, along with First Class Productions and their exceptional director Ronald Delucia for this wonderful commercial for Animal Planet's new "Hatch'Ems" line of growing toys. 

Cerebral Productions and In-Class Productions co-produced the commercial, aired on the Discovery network. With voice over work by Michael Biggam.

Filmed on location at one of Puerto Rico's many beautiful rivers leading through El Yunque, we are thankful to have had the opportunity to display a little of the magical side of nature.

Converse shoes throw their hands into the pie again showcasing some of Beijing’s hottest talent at School including electronica outfit white +, psych poppers Gate to Otherside, and folk minstrel prog rockers The Harridans. Gonna be a rowdy one. Burn a pair of Converse and show your love. It’s a hardcore hoedown at Mao Livehouse with these up and coming hardcore hybrids including Chaos Kills The Pain, Last Resort, Return the Truth, Laisee, Tainjin transplants 641, and South Korean outfit Teddy Boys. Best do some cardio beforehand. Grunge, glam rock – it’s all rock n roll to Temple as they present Car Car Cars and Los Crasher for some mischievous fun. Ambient experimental artist Pare Ohm out of Aussieland hops into town for some gigs – he’ll be joined tonight at the chill literal ‘hole in wall’ Old What? by other offbeat soundsmiths three (trio with Wenliang, Dongxu, and Hadi) and Guijian. New Maybe Mars rising stars Birdstriking and Chui Wan celebrate their first American tours with a special showcase at Yugong Yishan that also doubles as the vinyl rerelease of Birdstrking’s debut. They’ve had a good year you could say. They’re joined by one of this year’s best newcomers, melodic indie rockers The Eat. Better late than never. Dance punk trio Heat Mark celebrate the physical release of their debut EP at School with a little help of their friends, indie rockers Elenore and L-Gentlemen. Youthful rocking we’ll be doing. Blues revisonists rock outfit Hoochie Coochie Gentlemen, veterans of the scene, celebrate the release of their latest album with a special Jianghu Bar showcase. Cold Neo brings the show on the road for a two day fest across Beijing and Tianjin — catch a slew of up and coming post rockers tonight at Mako Livehouse including SNSOS, Spin Axis, Cat’s Jest, The Grinding Ear, and The 16 Floor. Powerful melodic alternative rock trio 16 mins, fresh off the release of their debut hit up Caravan for some late night saucy fun. Long standing psych blues jazz rockers Wu & The Side Effects, fronted by the ever charismatic Wu hit up Temple like it ain’t no thing. Metal! For the weekend, Cold Neo promoters team up with vintage fair Kill Shop for some good ol’ shop frenzy and live music holiday at Mako Livehouse. Music kicks off at 3pm each day with sets from The Twenties, Hulu Boyz, Los Crasher, Foggy Notions, L-Gentlemen, Rosewood Bullet, and Sofa. Indie rock outfit Jiubei swings through School on its nation wide tour. Get loud this Sunday evening with a metal showcase at Mao Livehouse featuring Dengel, Ready To Die, Bloody Woods, and Summon Soul.
