Microblog - Godox AD600 Pro
Controlling light is the key to good photography. Sure, we can up the resolution, expand the sensor and enrich the dynamic range of an image but the smart and thoughtful use of light is where the true magic happens. When shooting stills, especially the human form, short, powerful bursts of controlled light are essential for creating a ‘look’, ‘mood’, ‘feel’ or ‘tone’.
The Godox AD600 Pro provides 600w at 0.01-0.9s recycle time, 12 continuous flashes in 1/16 power output, modeling lamp and stable color temperature. When used with the pro level TTL CNSFOP trigger your clients and subject will be assured of high quality lighting that can elevate your work to another level. Of course, simply having the professional choice of light is worth little without correct application. However there are also add-ons you can source to improve your equipment and continue the road to photography nirvana. One particularly useful tool is the ambient diffuser with grid.

Available in a range of shapes and sizes, we like the Godox AD600 Pro in conjunction with the Angler BoomBox Octagonal Softbox with Bowens mount and fabric grid. The large soft box creates a broader source for the light to inhabit while the fabric grid allows for greater directional control when. lighting subject, helpful in creating defined contrast and lines particularly when applied to the human form or product photography.
Take a look at some images we shot for Maxine Yachtwear using the Godox AD600 Pro strobe light with Angler soft box and fabric grid on location in Puerto Rico.
